Minutes of meeting of the Kal-Valley Bass Club 10/8/07

In attendance:
Steve, Stephen, Jim, Dennis, Brad, Kevin, Chris, Karl, Rick, Ernie, and Park

• Any old business from 2007 season?
  - Treasurer reported $6 carried over from 2007 season
  - no other old business to discuss; 2007 tournament season closed
  
• Any recommendations for rule changes?
  - voted on changing to a draw tournament format for part of the 2008 season; did not pass, no rule change
  - no other rule changes proposed
  
• Set 2008 club dues at $25; no change from 2007
  - please pay dues at November meeting if possible; we can apply for lake permits in November this year and need the money for permits
  
• Nominations for club officers - elections will be held at November 12th, 2007 meeting
  - President: Brad Smith
  - Vice President: Karl Lingerfelt
  - Secretary: Park Shoemaker
  - Treasurer: Kevin Wilder, Karl Lingerfelt
  - Tournament Director: Kevin Wilder, Rick VanSluis
  - Assistant Tournament Director: Rick VanSluis, Jim Neel, Dennis Epps, Ernie Fitzgerald
  - Stephen volunteered to lead the Marketing and Recruiting effort
  
• Created long list of potential lakes for 2008 schedule; applyed 2 year rule from bylaws; no lake shall be fished two consecutive years
